Kent State's Nick Henneman (Oregon Clay) won his first collegiate open this past Saturday by take a 12-10 decision in the finals of Crume of Indianapolis in the 141 pound class. He made his way to the finals with a first round 5-4 decision followed by a fall and two majors. Henneman was a perfect 5-0 on the day.
Ohio State had two champions on the day in Hunter Lucas who scored a 13-7 decision over his team mate Brady Koontz. The second Buckeye to go undefeated on the day was Fritz Schierl who won 12-1 over Pugh of Notre Dame.
